Exciting developments are underway at the University of South Carolina as we unveil updated renderings for its new Health Sciences Campus in Columbia’s BullStreet District! This ambitious initiative will deliver a modern, state-of-the-art facility, focusing on timely and cost-effective delivery while fostering innovation and collaboration in medical education and research. This cutting-edge campus will feature modern classrooms, advanced clinical simulation spaces, ultrasound lab, and café, among many other dynamic program elements. Additionally, a beautifully landscaped quadrangle will provide an ideal environment for outdoor study and events, enhancing the overall experience for students, faculty, and staff. The project is being developed, designed, and constructed by a collaborative team led by Gilbane Development Company, together with longtime USC partner BOUDREAUX and national healthcare design expert The S/L/A/M Collaborative (SLAM) as leaders of the design effort, Gilbane Building Company as design-builder and Restoration 52 LLC as development consultant. Project Update! Exciting progress is underway at Barnaby & 7th, our transformative affordable and mixed-income housing project in Washington, DC! Phase 1, encompassing 231,370 square feet and featuring 169 units designed for households earning 30% and 50% AMI, is currently under construction and on track for completion. This development will offer a diverse mix of 1-bedroom to 4-bedroom apartments, enhancing community living.
