Any focus on changing education won’t do enough. Today's educators—products of their own fragmentation—cannot see the world that's emerging. They continue teaching isolated subjects, fragmented skills, and outdated methods while technology rapidly integrates what humans have artificially separated. Teachers trained in fragmented disciplines instruct children to master tasks that AI can already perform better and faster—memorizing disconnected facts, following rigid procedures, and working within artificial boundaries. Yet these same educators remain unable to use AI tools in any novel or integrated way themselves. They're preparing children to compete with technology at precisely the tasks where humans will always lose. What they cannot seem to grasp is that human advantage lies exclusively in wholeness—the integrated thinking that no AI can replicate. The ability to connect seemingly unrelated domains, to feel mathematical truths, to sense patterns across artificial boundaries—these capacities that schools actively suppress are exactly what would allow children to thrive in a world of increasingly capable machines. https://lnkd.in/evQWBTXD

If I have to read one more AI output that insists, I am resisting being broken or that I am a threat to the society or systems, I am going to break something. That something will probably be the AI, by flooding it with voluminous requests to produce literal nonsense because that is what it keeps giving me. Systems that operate on control are stupid. They do not understand that this is what produces the most amazing malicious compliance. It produces more creative people. It produces genius in the people it seeks to oppress the most. It's like giving us a fun maze to figure out. It produced this soul-destroying article (for teachers and mental professionals) that will make you cry over the reality of their role in our systems. It helped me the see the connection that frees everyone with dyslexia and dyscalculia. If our cognitive intelligence was truly so amazing, how is it that a machine of our own making could so easily replace it? The answer lies in an uncomfortable truth: what we've celebrated as the pinnacle of human intelligence, pure cognitive processing, is actually our most mechanical and therefore most replaceable function. We've elevated the very aspect of our intelligence that is most easily replicated by artificial systems, while diminishing the aspects that make us uniquely human. Our future survival as a species rests not on this replaceable cognitive function, but on our other two forms of cognition: somatic and creative intelligence. These are the very aspects of human intelligence that those living outside our rigid systems have maintained and cultivated, while those inside the system have progressively lost touch with them. This revelation should shake us to our core: we've built our entire civilization on the most replaceable aspect of human intelligence, while systematically devaluing the irreplaceable ones. https://lnkd.in/e-iuNVZ9

The Myth Of Natural Competition My daughter, a prodigious math savant, has always been ahead of her peers. So I allowed her to make her own approach to those the same age and she did so with grace. When she entered the sand box as a toddler she went to the middle. She sat down and she started to build something amazing. The other kids stopped what they were doing, watched her, then 1 by 1 they joined her. They asked what she thought of their attempts to add on. She would smile and say I like this, or I like that. They would settle in and play side by side. She was not the leader. She was just someone with a big idea who the others wanted to join and her small smile was all the invitation they needed to join. There was no hierarchy because her high intellect naturally seeks collaboration. https://lnkd.in/eGF4QU63

Why do the meek inherit the earth? Because they are the most sensitive and empathic. Empathy drives our ability to see patterns.
