COHORT 9 SPOTLIGHT: KWIDEX Kwidex is a Ghanaian crowdfunding platform that enables middle-income earners to invest in small-scale farmers and agribusinesses, helping them access much-needed funds for growth. Founded in 2018 by Seyram Mantey and two co-founders, Kwidex focuses on creating alternative investment opportunities for African professionals, especially diaspora, while supporting sustainable development in Sub-Saharan Africa. The platform connects African investors with agribusinesses, allowing them to scale their operations through crowdfunding. This model helps fill the funding gap for farmers, driving local economic growth and generating returns for investors.
