When reflecting on the impact GGFYP has had on her experience in Grand Forks, Gon said: "Young Professionals is a very important part of the Greater Grand Forks community. I love this organization because of the community and the opportunity to get connected with the various people of Greater Grand Forks. Being active in GGFYP is how I’ve met people from different backgrounds and learned about the intricacies of careers that I would have never considered. It is because of GGFYP that I see familiar faces at the grocery store or can say, “I know somebody who works here!” I think this simple detail is important when trying to make a new place a home, and I am very excited to be a part of this organization."
