GFF’s Camille Vigil co-authored the article Chasing the Impossible: How Technological Feats Fuel Our Utopic Visions with Tanvi Solanki for Texas Architect magazine, exploring how architectural visions—shaped by media, technology, and imagination—translate into real-world built environments. The article examines the tension between utopian ideals and practical constraints, from futuristic cityscapes to groundbreaking construction advancements. Congrats to Camille on this insightful contribution! Read the full article here: https://lnkd.in/eFf_mGab

On the latest TRECcast, we sat down with GFF’s Evan Beattie to discuss our public policy priorities for the year! Evan is a longtime TREC member and great steward of our organization. He’s been an integral part of our public policy, leadership development, and community investment initiatives over the years. Later this month, as our Public Policy Chair, Evan will join our TREC team in Austin as part of Real Estate Councils of Texas (RECsTX) Lobby Day and meet with our state officials to advocate on behalf of Dallas’ commercial real estate industry. Upon returning from Austin, TREC PAC will begin vetting the candidates seeking election to the Dallas City Council later this spring. Each of the 14 City Council seats will be up for election.
