For the last 9 months, you’ve probably seen major improvements and more activity on our social media accounts, largely due to our first-ever Marketing Director, Cassie Boorn. It is with deep sorrow to let you know that Cassie passed away in a fatal car accident this past weekend. This is a profound loss for all of us, and our thoughts and prayers are with her family and loved ones during this difficult time. In these 9 short months, Cassie brought her tenaciousness for marketing to our company, and whether it was in a social media post or by her uniquely decorated office, also brought life to us. She was a marketing dynamo, who wanted to share the Getz brand to the world and to any person working here. She believed that anything was possible and no goal was unobtainable. If she had her way, she would have gladly traveled to Tibet to ask the isolated monks there who they used for fire extinguisher service.  And explain to them why Getz Fire would be a better choice. Cassie was a vibrant, relentlessly positive person who could be heard and seen from a mile away. Which makes her absence that much more deeply felt for us and the world. Last November, I became the FIRST Marketing Director in the history of Getz! 😲 Growing a company to this size with ZERO marketing staff let me know they were doing SOMETHING right! 🤔💭 I learned quick that Getz is REALLY bad at telling people how great they are, and they’re pretty great. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 These are people who would rather get the work done than toot their own horn. (So I’m tooting it for them!) 🥳 It’s taken some time to fully comprehend ALL of the THINGS we do at Getz, which is much more than “just” keeping businesses across three states protected. 👀👀 ✅ We create and manufacturer innovative equipment used by technicians! ✅ We build service vehicles,government contractors and large organizations! ✅ We provide training and support to fire protection companies around the world. ✅ We teach local teams how to properly use fire extinguishers in an emergency! In just SEVEN DAYS we were able to collect… ⭐️105 toothpastes ⭐️190 deodorant ⭐️165 soaps ⭐️825 toothbrush That is 1,285 total products donated to local kids at The Dream Center thanks to ALL OF YOU. ☀️🚌✏️📚 We wanted to give a big THANK YOU to all of the people who took time to donate + the local businesses who helped make this possible Culver's and UFS Downtown Outlet Center. 🎉 We could not have done this without YOU! 👉🏻Dream Center Peoria is collecting supplies through the end of August if you’d still like to participate!
