unBurnt is is building burnout prevention solutions, focused at the intersection of helping busy professionals reduce chronic stress, while enabling companies to work more effectively. Through employee wellbeing and resilience workshops, new manager mindset training, executive coaching, and strategic planning consultancy, unBurnt is delivering solutions to meet the growing burnout epidemic. The challenge is two-fold: 1. Often highly-stressed employees feel they cannot admit when it’s become too much until they are ready to exit or are forced to seek medical leave. 2. Turnover and loss in productivity can be very disruptive and costly, if unmanaged overwhelm is not spotted early enough to take action. Unmanaged burnout costs US businesses an estimated $125 to $190 billion in increased healthcare, absenteeism, disengagement and turnover-related costs. unBurnt provides insights into early-warning signs and delivers practical and sustainable strategies to minimize friction and improve business outcomes.

    The impact of chronic stress is real. And prioritizing YOU does not mean you're any less ambitious. Or not focused on your career. In fact, it's necessary. Here's why: - We're simply not at our best when chronically stressed. The research is clear - almost any aspect of our physical and mental health could be disrupted when experiencing constant stress and overwhelm. - Outcomes become harder to achieve. We're depleted and yet it becomes harder to 'turn off the noise' and actually rest. A vicious cycle. - It creeps in to personal relationships and home life. With feelings of not being present, or perhaps irritable and moody with the ones we love most, chronic stress impacts more than just you.     This morning I supported a cause very close to my heart…burnout ????. Almost half (~42%) of the global workforce report being burned out. This stat showcases the need for us to not just be talking about this topic to raise awareness, but it highlights the requirement for us to DO something about it…to be the change you want to see in the world. Alison Campbell started her company, unBurnt, to pursue her personal mission in helping professionals overcome burnout. She asked me to lead a workshop for her members as my own mission of helping professionals live a life of unapologetic alignment meshed naturally with hers. In the workshop we talked about: - the driving forces of burnout - we brought awareness to the root causes - we mapped out the actions + practices to incorporate in order to make the necessary shifts to move into a life of balance and ease It was an honor to lead the workshop and it’s something I’m eager to do more of (DM me if you’re interested in having me speak at your event????).     Even a 15-minute break can help you reset.?? Here are 3 ways to get started: 1. Take 15 minutes to zoom out → Rather than focusing on what you have today, take a few moments to reflect on how far you've come this year or the goals you have for 2025. → It's also OK to pause, and reflect on memories that bring you joy. Every day does not have to be go-go-go. 2. A tidy space goes a long way to helping your mind feel clear too → If you've been meaning to clear a closet or drawer, set a timer and get it done. → It's a small way to gain control over your environment, and will help you feel accomplished. 3. Swap hot water, instead of afternoon caffeine → It's a soothing way to reset without the jitters or potential impact on sleep later on. → If you're able to, sit screen-free - with a book, a friend or for a quiet moment - and take this moment to disconnect. Today may feel heavy. It's OK to simply breathe and pause.
