Caleb King ?on how Supered?leverages the SurroundBound in their GTM This sales and marketing approach works because it is: ?? LinkedIn-first ?? Video-first ?? Community-first Here’s the idea: You immerse yourself in the communities where your ideal buyer exists. You surround them with LinkedIn content, collaborate with brands they recognize, and get your name in their network. You'll know SurroundBound strategy is working when you hear your prospect say "Oh, I've heard of you"! #sales #salestips #b2bsales

What if clothing brands where influenced by tech products? We are so passionate about the brands we choose, why not wear the tools you are passionate about? Maybe its because the tools give out lame free conference swag ??♀? Just a thought Tech logos as the next hott streetwear brand.

Making HubSpot even Easier to Use ????| Helping HubSpot Solutions Partners Scale ???? | Turning HubSpot CRM Users into Superheros ??♀???♂?

Here’s how we booked 94 meetings (and closed 4 deals) at INBOUND24 1. We did ZERO attribution. 2. We had NO demo booking targets. 3. We had NO revenue goal for the event 3. We focused ONLY on mindshare and narrative. Our goals? - Make people say, “WTF is happening over there?” at least 15 times. - Get authorities to ask us to “turn it down.” - Hear at least 5 people say, “I don’t know what this is, but I feel like I should.” And we hit every single one. Several times over. Why? The Paradox of Focus. It’s like trying to catch a butterfly. The harder you chase, the more it flutters out of reach. But if you just sit still, it often lands right in your lap. This doesn’t mean metrics don’t matter—they do. Metrics help guide our strategies and assess impact. But when metrics become the only focus, we can lose sight of what’s truly important: the human connection, the spark, the heart of your mission. By letting go of rigid targets, we created curiosity, sparked excitement, and built connections that a KPI could never measure. The demos booked and deals closed were outcomes of that focus, not the targets. So here's the reminder: Metrics are crucial. They give us direction, they measure progress, and they inform decisions. BUT never lose heart. Keep your goals human-centered, lead with curiosity, and the outcomes will follow. Numbers will come and go, but the relationships you build and the impact you make? Those last. Next time you’re in planning mode, ask yourself: Are you chasing the butterfly? Or are you creating a garden where it wants to land? be the garden stay Supered? & never, EVER stop believing

Hire Elite HubSpot Talent @ HubSearch.com

Massive shoutout to Alexander J. Buckles and Forecastable!! I met Alex at INBOUND this year and was instantly intrigued by what he's doing with Forecastable. A few weeks later - we're customers. Referrals from HubSpot reps is out #1 new client acquisition channel. I hear constantly "I told my HubSpot rep we were struggling to hire and they told me to contact HubSearch". ?? Managing relationships with & creating new relationships with customer facing folks at HubSpot are the most important biz dev activities for us. Having a partner like Alex @ Forecastable to help us scale these actions is going to be a force multiplier for HubSearch. Also VERY excited to see what Commsor ?? can do for us. I met Mac Reddin ?? & crew at INBOUND. Becoming a Forecastable customers gets us access to Commsor - pretty sweet. Finally - shoutout to Matt Bolian ?D'Ana Guiloff ??Caleb King ?and the entire Supered?crew for putting together the space that made this possible. https://forecastable.com/ https://www.commsor.com/ https://www.supered.io/

bootstrapped is our strategy (not an accident) we skipped seed and plan to skip series A (just hit 2M+ ARR) Why? Bootstrap is outperforming VC companies today in key metrics. (Capchase report in the comments) -> Revenue Growth Rate - Neither: Both bootstrapped and VC-backed companies show around 30% year-over-year growth. Growth is achievable on both paths, but bootstrappers get there sustainably. -> Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC) - Bootstrapped: Bootstrapped companies have a 15-20% lower CAC by leveraging organic growth and efficient marketing. We’re focusing on reaching customers without overspending. -> Gross Margin - Bootstrapped: Bootstrapped firms report a 75% average gross margin, compared to 68% for VC-backed companies. Higher margins mean we’re keeping costs low while maximizing value. -> Profitability Timeline - Bootstrapped: Bootstrapping leads to profitability within 18 months, while VC-backed companies often take 36+ months. Faster profitability means we’re in control sooner. -> Churn Rate - Neither: Both models experience a churn rate of 5-7%. Bootstrapped companies often invest more in retention, but overall, churn rates are competitive for both. -> Burn Rate - Bootstrapped: Lower burn rate means bootstrapped companies are growing sustainably without heavy cash outflows, keeping us lean and focused. -> Lifetime Value (LTV) - Bootstrapped: Bootstrapped companies report higher LTV due to stronger customer relationships built on long-term loyalty. -> Valuation Growth - VC: VC-backed firms see 50% higher valuation multiples, offering rapid scaling and high valuations. This appeals to those prioritizing quick growth and market influence. -> International Expansion - VC: VC funding enables faster global expansion, often launching in new markets 12-18 months sooner. Capital access fuels rapid market entry and footprint expansion. We believe bootstrapping aligns best with today’s landscape: ??Tech Disruption: AI Disruption lets us move fast, without waiting for approvals. ??Founder Led GTMs: New Distribution Models allow founder-led brands to engage directly, adapting quickly. ??Scarity: Innovation Through Scarcity drives creative, lean growth, making more with less. so summing it up: bootstrapping is OUTPERFORMING their vc counterparts. So at the least, ask yourselves the below: - Why give up more equity for flashy growth rates, when bootstrapping achieves the same? - Why raise money if it isn’t likely to speed up revenue growth? - Why go VC if you’re going to burn through cash, only to break even later than bootstrappers? - Why give up control just to end up with similar churn rates? There isn't one right path. this year we'll continue to bootstrap b/c I think that is the best way to serve our customers today stay Supered? & never, EVER stop believing -matt

Four-day weekends. They seem like mythical creatures we only dream of, right? Rare, elusive, almost like they don’t exist. One thing I cherished most about the military? They took rest seriously. ?? Every month, we had three- and four-day weekends—natural rhythms of work and rest, with generous time off. But, of course, there was a balance. When duty called, we answered—sometimes 12 months at a time. But when you weren’t “deployed,” you rested. You breathed. You got to be human again. And then I entered civilian life. That rhythm? Gone. It wasn’t like deployment, with a clear start and finish. No, it was like being “always deployed.” Always on. Always running on fumes. Vacations? They became a joke. Something for the “weak.” People bragged about not taking a day off in years as if that made them stronger. And I felt it, too—more tired, more anxious, more disconnected at home. Leaving the military felt like falling into a new deployment, but this time, without relief, without rest, without an “end in sight.” It felt like a slow war of attrition on the soul. That’s why I’m passionate about Days of Rest. ?? Every second Friday of the month, we step away, and every month, a long weekend is a guarantee. Sometimes, the stars align, or we move things around and get those rare four-day weekends. Today is one of those rare four-day weekends, and I’m grateful. Grateful that we’ve built these rhythms of rest into the work. If you’re feeling worn down, you’re not alone. It’s okay to take a break. You’re worth it. There’s always hope. There is virtue in work and there is virtue in rest. Use both and overlook neither. stay Supered?, & never, EVER stop believing -matt

? Making HubSpot even Easier to Use ?

Sometimes things need to be perfect. A lot of times things need to be done, more than they need to be perfect. We've known Supered? should be on Dimmo ?? for months now...and I finally just recorded the dang thing and submitted it. That means you can watch a quick demo of what the heck Supered actually does on your own time, without (or before) booking a live meeting with us. To summarize: -Demo on Dimmo: Watch the demo of Supered here: https://lnkd.in/g9Bkj6NZ -What is Supered: Supered helps users learn how to use software and enforce digital processes. (and we duplicate HubSpot Resources portal to portal) This is actually good timing. The Supered team is off for a 4 day weekend starting Friday. We'd love to talk to you, but don't wait on us and our calendars. 1. Watch the demo 2. Book a live call from our website for next week if it's valuable to you and you want to talk to a human. 3. We'll talk live via virtual video chat while sharing our screens across states, continents, and oceans, just like the good ol' days of traditional seller/buyer relationships!
