The Mid-American Conference announced its football schedule for the 2025 season today. ? This marks the second year of the new conference schedule format. This model allows each team to face all 12 conference opponents home and away at least once during a three-year cycle. Additionally, the format incorporates protected opponents based on geographic location and rivalries and eliminates the MAC East and West Divisions. ? MAC alumni Quinyon Mitchell and Dallas Gant were crowned Super Bowl Champions as the Philadelphia Eagles defeated the Kansas City Chiefs, 40-22, on Sunday. A two-time All-American, Mitchell played for the Rockets from 2020-23, and is the program's all-time leader with 46 pass breakups. Gant played for Toledo for two seasons from 2022-23, leading the team in tackles in both seasons. He signed with Minnesota as an undrafted free agent this year before being picked up by Philadelphia midseason. ??? : bit.ly/417wr5f | #MACtion

A total of eight former Mid-American Conference student-athletes are on the rosters of the Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles, five of which will be active on Sunday. Toledo leads the MAC with three former student-athletes represented, while Ball State and Western Michigan have two each. Congrats to our women's basketball squads for winning the 2024-25 MAC-SBC Challenge after posting a 15-9 overall record. Each MAC and Sun Belt team included in the MAC-SBC Challenge, which was created in 2023-24 and will continue through the 2026-27 season, is guaranteed one home and one away game each season. Scheduling assistance is provided by Ordinal Sports Group.
