Navigating adulthood while juggling your personal life, career and so many aspects of your life can be quite stressful. Most times, we might just need a listening ear or a change of our environment to relieve the stress we're experiencing. Ijeoma Onwuka invited me to give a talk on Effective Strategies for Managing Stress and Overcoming Challenges to the 25 Fellows currently participating in the Scandium Systems Inc's Software QA Fellowship. It was an interactive session in which I defined stress, discussed the various forms of stress and shared actionable steps on how the Fellows could manage their stress better and practice work-life balance. I loved the active participation of the Fellows throughout the session and I wish all 25 of them success in their ongoing Fellowship.

This week was off to a great start thanks to the fellow spotlight recognition I got at at the Scandium Systems Inc QA Fellowship this Saturday! ???? A few weeks ago, I shared the exciting news of being selected for the Scandium QA fellowship, and I wanted to take a moment to reflect on how the journey has been going. The fellowship kicked off about five weeks ago, and it has been an amazing experience filled with learning from industry experts. We've been focusing on using Scandium to automate test cases, including API testing and test integration into CI/CD pipelines, which has been both challenging and rewarding. But beyond the technical training, what I’ve found truly inspiring are the soft-skill sessions. We’ve had successful professionals come in to share their stories and insights, reminding us just how vital these skills are for career growth. It’s something I really value as I continue to develop personally and professionally. With three months left in the fellowship, I’m looking forward to what’s next. I’m certain that Scandium has more transformative programs in store for us, and I’m excited to keep learning and growing.
