?? Reflecting on an Exceptional Year at inRev??? 2024 was a year of extraordinary growth and innovation for inRev. It was also a lot of fun. I’m thrilled to share a few highlights. ?? Growth –?We grew annual GWP by over 4.5x! Huge thank you to our amazing agent and broker partners for making this possible! ?? Underwriting – After three full years writing business, we’ve achieved a sub-2% loss ratio (inception to date). Huge shout out to Charlie Yates for his phenomenal underwriting leadership! ?? Key Partnerships – We more than doubled our agency partnerships. Many of these partners have become friends, so working with them is often the most rewarding part of our day. Huge thanks to Nick Benenati for his superb leadership of all things distribution! ?? Ops Streamlining – We matured a wide range of processes and systems in ways that have made us more efficient, organized and reliable. Huge shout out to Lexie Ryder for spearheading so many of the operational improvements across inRev. ???? Product – We released v2 of our platform in May. Since then, submission count, premium, engagement and so many other things have absolutely skyrocketed. Huge thanks to my co-founder Adam Duff and Principal Engineer Thomas Curley for architecting and building such an immensely powerful, intuitive and scalable platform. And another huge thanks to Andrew Hamacher, who joined inRev in mid-2024 (and almost immediately started contributing code), for building so many crucial post-v2 features that make our product great. ?? Skunkworks – We built a set of extremely powerful surety underwriting AI capabilities that we’ll deploy in the coming months. Describing the impact these capabilities will have on the surety industry would come across as ridiculous and hyperbolic, so I won’t do that here, but I do want to point out that we’re looking forward not only to using these tools to catapult our own product but also to improving the work lives of our partners. Huge thank you to our AI Guru in Residence Josh Arnold for his leadership and execution of this monumental project (and for his kindness when the tools he built outperformed me ??). ? Carrier Partners - We're extremely fortunate to have such a supportive group of carrier partners. Thank you so much to Accelerant, Lexington National Insurance Corporation and Greenlight Re for your support, trust and partnership. ???? Agent/Broker Partners - And a HUGE thank you to our agent/broker partners for believing in our vision, for engaging with and propelling our product forward, and for being so much fun to work with.
