Check out this fireside chat with Ellen Kelsay and Kirk Czonstka on accountability in employer-consultant relationships: https://lnkd.in/g-GhEAKg
I had the honor of hosting a fireside chat with Ellen Kelsay at a recent Garner event. We discussed how to drive greater accountability?in the employer-advisor relationship. Here are some of the core themes that emerged from our chat and comments from the audience: - Short-term vs. long-term planning: Employers want a short-term fix for cost, but actually need a longer-term strategy. Balancing that is key. - Variance in data sophistication: Not every employer has a data warehouse or wants to go that deep. Consultants need to meet them where they are and lead when necessary. - Benefits leaders have a tough job right now: Costs are at an all-time high. CFOs are watching spend closely. The benefits landscape is increasingly complex. And employee demands are great. Benefits leaders have never had it harder.
