Last night, I went to my second Uncorked at Philly’s Barcelona Wine Bar . As a wine lover (and student!), it’s become a must-do event for me.
Over 2 hours, I tasted 30 wines from across Spain from North America’s Best Value Wine List.
(Don’t worry, there was plenty of jamón serrano, paella salvaje, and Basque burnt cheesecake to keep me upright…)
In conversation with one of the hosts, I mentioned that I work at Craftable. Her face lit up.
“Are you kidding?! I love Craftable, I literally use it every day.”
Turns out she’s responsible for wine inventory—and had built the evening’s tasting menu based on the stock and profitability data she tracked in our software.
“You have no idea how much easier you make my job,” she told me.
It’s exactly why I love working in #restauranttech. Empowering hospitality folks with tools to stress less?
Yeah, I’ll raise a glass to that. ??
