Ran a cool demo for a fintech company this week. The problem they have is getting inbound leads routed to Salesforce in real-time. Currently this happens in a common but fairly primitive way, where website visitors fill out a form and it goes straight into Salesforce and gets routed. Issue is that ~20% of those form-fills are from existing customer accounts so they're not routed correctly and they're not enriched with important data from Snowflake. We showed them what's possible with Snowflake's Dynamic Tables and Census. In a nutshell, what they can do is pipe these leads into Snowflake directly from their real-time event stream (Kafka) via Census and have a Dynamic Table set up to cross-reference that lead vs. their customer data. If and only if that lead isn't a customer will it populate & enrich on that table with very fast latency. Census then syncs that lead to Salesforce in real-time as soon as it hits the Dynamic Table. The overall delay between form-fill and getting routed to the right rep is under 1 minute. This way the right rep gets the lead with the right data quickly enough that they can pick up the phone and call them right away.

It’s our first AI week at Census. LLMs has been the most fun way to “talk to” a computer since I first learn to program with Hypercard. We recently launched the ability to augment data living in warehouses with AI using LLMs (see https://lnkd.in/gA6DgGSA), which means you can do so much more with the data you already have. Heck, you can build the equivalent of entire programs with a few prompts so we’re sharing some of the best examples we’ve seen from our users. One of which is our own RevOps team ??. They used it to automate account fit scoring so our reps never have to leave Salesforce...
