Meet Joe Heppe, our Director of Culinary for Full-Service Restaurants at Geronimo Hospitality Group! Joe has been a part of the team for nearly eight years, overseeing the culinary operations at Red Circle Inn, Velvet Buffalo, Merrill & Houston’s, I.d., and Baraboo Supper Club. Joe was introduced to the company by an experienced hospitality professional and was drawn to its bold approach, investment in its staff, and commitment to hard work—a reputation that has more than lived up to his expectations! Over the years, he has embraced Geronimo’s spirit of growth and innovation, with a personal legacy of building a hospitality brand that provides opportunity and development for professionals for years to come. One of Joe’s most notable achievements was his promotion to Director of Culinary. Though stepping into this role meant leaving behind a team he had worked closely with for five years, he took immense pride in seeing those team members step into new leadership positions in his absence. When it comes to company values, Joe’s favorite line of the Geronimo Manifesto is: "Every Shift, Every Day." To him, it represents a mindset of constant self-evaluation and opportunity—always striving to improve tomorrow while giving your all today. His favorite property? I.d.—because "you always remember your first!" But Bottleworks comes in as a close second for its absolutely stunning atmosphere. Outside of work, Joe loves spending time with his wife and kids, going on family vacations, and watching his two children grow into pre-teens. When he has a moment to himself, you’ll likely find him at a Phish concert, seeing the band as many times as possible! One of the perks that has made a big impact on his life? Our first ever "Fill a Teacher's Stocking" holiday giving campaign was a great success! Thanks to the generosity and teamwork of our associates, we made a meaningful difference for local teachers and students in Beloit—the community we proudly call home. We joined forces with CORPORATE CONTRACTORS INC (CCI), ABC Supply Co. Inc., Hendricks Holdings and Geronimo Hospitality Group to fulfill teacher wish lists at nine schools and donated nearly $10,000 in classroom supplies. From books and craft supplies to winter gear and snacks, our team members proved that when we work together, the sky is the limit. ?? ?? ??

?? Employee Spotlight - Ryan Wengel, VP of Marketing at Geronimo Hospitality Group ?? Ryan has been a vital part of the company for 6.5 years, starting as a Design Director in 2018. Throughout his journey, Ryan has played a pivotal role in building and leading a talented marketing team that spans across the U.S., supporting markets in Beloit, Delafield, Boise, Indianapolis, and Santa Barbara. His contributions have driven the successful marketing design of major brand launches and the evolution of our company portfolio. What attracted Ryan to Geronimo Hospitality Group was the company’s commitment to high-quality design and pushing boundaries. As he says, “The status quo sucks,” a line from the manifesto that resonates deeply with his drive for excellence and innovation. Ryan’s proudest achievements include leading large-scale brand identity projects, with his recent favorites being Hotel Renegade, Baraboo Supper Club, and The Highlander in Boise. He’s also especially proud of the work done for Henry Dorrbaker’s, a project that showcased the immense talent and dedication of his team.
