Celebrating 30 Years of #BMW Plant Spartanburg ??An awesome celebration today with President & CEO of BMW Manufacturing and GACC South - German American Chamber of Commerce of the Southern U.S., Inc. Board Member Dr. Robert Engelhorn. ?? Some impressive hard facts: over 11,000 jobs on site (8 million sq. ft.), USD 13.3 bn invested since 1992, over 50% exported to 120 markets, and 1,500 cars assembled daily. ?????? But what also stands out is seeing some of the 150 team members who've been with BMW from the start, now even working alongside their kids. Plus, the plant's own band, "The Body Shop 5" performed, wrapping up a great evening Melanie Moltmann and I thoroughly enjoyed.
