We loved getting to be a part of the inaugural Mustang Career Summit and connecting our Houston High School senior students with our wonderful chamber members!
Yesterday we had the awesome opportunity of hosting six Houston High School students for their HHS Job Shadow Day! ?? ?????? Many career roles contribute to the success of Shoemaker - so we couldn't limit our students to shadowing just one! Instead, our students dived into various business areas including financial advising, investment advisory, insurance, marketing, sales, and management. From lunch with our Managing Partners, to Family Feud with Shoemaker Insurance Solutions, and trying their hand at hypothetical investing situations with our IA team, these students had a FULL day. Thank you to Houston High School and Germantown Municipal School District for allowing us this time to connect and teach these bright young minds!
