KDWV Executive Director Nora Hasani Visits ZILONIS: Advancing Innovation and Sustainability in Industrial Processes Nora Hasani, the Executive Director of the Kosovo-German Business Association (KDWV), paid a visit to the ZILONIS campus last weekend, at their production sites in Westerwald and Siegerland, where she also toured three of the company’s factories. ZILONIS, a KDWV member, is a global leader in the manufacture of heat exchangers, apparatus, and containers, and is at the forefront of merging innovation with traditional industries. Their products play a vital role in the sustainable management of heat and environmentally friendly energy solutions. With production sites in Westerwald and Siegerland, ZILONIS is committed to reducing CO2 emissions in industrial processes and advancing a greener future. Their ongoing partnership with KDWV continues to foster collaboration aimed at driving innovation and sustainability in both Germany and Kosovo. ????

?????????? German-Kosovar Business Association meeting State Secretary Dr. Mark Speich: Strengthening Partnership and Exchanging Opportunities for Sustainable Development! The Executive Director of the German-Kosovar Business Association, Nora Hasani, had the pleasure of welcoming a delegation from the North Rhine-Westphalia (NRW) State Chancellery, led by State Secretary Dr. Mark Speich, at the Training and Innovation Park - ITP Park in Prizren. State Secretary Dr. Speich was welcomed by the ITP management, Hans-Jürgen Cassens and Muhamed Rexhepi, along with the German Deputy Ambassador, Matthias Conrad, and the Director of the German-Kosovar Business Association. During the visit, State Secretary, Dr. Speich, was informed about the economic cooperation between Germany and Kosovo, German investments in Kosovo, and, in particular, investments coming from the North Rhine-Westphalia (NRW) region. Director Hasani also updated him on her visit to NRW, where she had the opportunity to visit three factories of the member company ZILONIS, a leading German manufacturer of thermal pumps, which has established a representative office in Kosovo and plans to relocate a portion of its production there. State Secretary was informed about the German-Kosovar Economic Forum as well, which is expected to host over 600 representatives from German and Kosovar companies. KDWV at the “Nearshoring through Decarbonization in the Western Balkans: Private Sector Views on Challenges and Opportunities” conference in Budva At today’s conference, findings from the regional study on the impact of decarbonization and the Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM) on the competitiveness and economy of the Western Balkans are being presented. Among the panelists at this conference, Kushtrim Grainca, representative of MUNDA Kosova, is participating in the discussion on Challenges, Opportunities, and Recommendations regarding “Nearshoring through Decarbonization in the Western Balkans.” Besarta Hyseni, on the other hand, is participating in this conference as a representative of KDWV.
