Our crew recently used rope access to repair a sign at Methodist University Hospital in Memphis, TN. Using rope access for this type of work has been a game changer for us compared to traditional swing stage methods. ? Advantages of Rope Access vs. Swing Stage Include: ? Safety and Efficiency: This job was completed in just 4 hours, significantly faster than the 3 days typically required. Additionally, when done properly, rope access has higher safety records compared to traditional access methods. Scheduling Flexibility: We can work according to our customers’ schedules rather than relying on a rental company. This allows us to quickly adapt to weather changes and shift to our customer’s needs. Reduced Risk of Damage: The risk of damage to a building is significantly reduced with rope access compared to swing stages that can be caught in wind and transformed into an out-of-control wrecking ball. Disruption Avoidance: Rope access gear can be carried in a backpack, avoiding the need to mobilize a swing stage through an active site. This is key for projects like this in an active hospital.?Plus, there were no swing stages left unattended in inconvenient locations. Cost-Effectiveness: Rope access is billed by the hour, in contrast to monthly equipment rental periods and hefty set-up/tear down charges often required for swing stages.

We’re excited to announce that we’ve achieved substantial completion at the Altru Replacement Hospital in Grand Forks, ND! Altru Health System staff are now starting the transition into their new 532,000 SF facility, which features seven floors and over 200 patient beds. A big thank you to general contractors?PCL Construction | Community Contractors Inc for trusting us with this project, and to our electrical partners at NORTHERN VALLEY ELECTRICAL SERVICE, INC for helping to bring this exceptional healthcare facility to the Grand Forks area. ? Check out our progress at the new Tennessee Titans’ Nissan Stadium in Nashville!?For our part, preconstruction will continue through the end of the year, early procurement of long-lead equipment items has been completed, and construction has started with mobilization, temporary power, and elevated deck rough-in.?This new NFL stadium is expected to be complete in February 2027. We’ve been working on something BIG for over a year now and are so excited to finally share the news that we’ve officially been hired as the electrical contractor for the NEW Nissan Stadium in Nashville, TN. When complete, the multipurpose stadium will be home to the NFL’s Tennessee Titans and the Tennessee State University’s football team, as well as hosting other high-profile events.?Designed for the ultimate fan experience, the stadium will include a seating capacity of approximately 60,000, an enclosed translucent roof to host year-round events, multiple premium areas & suites, and large glass walls and exterior terraces overlooking downtown Nashville. This will be Gephart’s third NFL stadium project and our?second major sports facility in the Nashville area in the last five years after completing the MLS Geodis Park soccer stadium in 2022 .?It’s quite an accomplishment and a testament to our capabilities and reputation in the Sports Facilities market.

Notice the FedExForum in the background. Rope access provides a safe and efficient way to reach hard to navigate spots such as this to make the necessary repairs.
