?? Big Changes Coming to Windows Mail and Calendar ?? Microsoft has announced that support for the Windows Mail, Calendar, and People apps will end on December 31, 2024. If you’re still using these apps, it’s time to make the switch to the new Outlook for Windows app. Starting in 2025, you’ll no longer be able to send or receive emails through Windows Mail or manage your schedule in Calendar. The new web-based Outlook for Windows is designed to streamline email and scheduling while integrating seamlessly with Microsoft 365. ?? Key Details: Outlook for Windows is now available and replaces Mail and Calendar. The new app will also eventually replace the full desktop version of Outlook. Current Outlook installs (via perpetual or subscription licenses) will continue to be supported until at least 2029. ?? What You Need to Do: ?? Transition to the new Outlook app now to avoid disruptions. ?? If you’re an enterprise customer, stay tuned for updates as Microsoft rolls out this transition in phases. OneDrive Users on macOS Sequoia (macOS 15): Microsoft has confirmed a known issue affecting OneDrive users where applications freeze when opening or saving files in Desktop, Documents, or OneDrive folders. The current workaround? Use Activity Monitor to locate and Force Quit the "OpenAndSavePanelService" process. Save files outside of Desktop, Documents, and OneDrive folders to avoid freezing.
