We believe everyone has a right to high quality legal services regardless of location. Our 10 regional offices provide free legal services in the areas of family law, housing, access to public benefits, eviction prevention, farmworkers rights, and access to education.

Members of our Pro Bono team were pleased to work alongside a great group of volunteer attorneys and paralegals at a special clinic hosted by Invest Atlanta last Saturday. Having key documents in place is essential to help homeowners protect their homes and their legacies - we were happy to help!
My #GLSP Pro Bono Team and I were honored to stage a Wills legal clinic today for the Mayor's Office of the City of Atlanta and benefitting homeowners participating in Invest Atlanta''s home revitalization programming. We are thankful to City of Atlanta attorney Patrise Perkins-Hooker for inviting us to help organize the event and support all the wonderful volunteer lawyers. The legal clinic served as the kick-off event for a year-long effort by the Mayor's Office and Invest Atlanta to help City residents preserve generational wealth. Thanks to Mayor Andre Dickens for his inspirational words and, again, to Patrise Perkins-Hooker for her confidence in our team. And my personal appreciation goes to #GLSP Pro Bono Team lawyers Cari King, Sarah J. Anderson, Ashley Clark, Project Manager Heidi Behnke, paralegal Nobie Mitchell, and #GLSP Director of Development & Communications Mitzy Sharp Futro for their hard work and commitment to serving this community.

Georgia lawyers: If you feel you need to do something to help Georgians who have been struggling to deal with the aftermath of Hurricane Helene, we have an opportunity for you to use your legal skills to provide advice and next steps to Georgians about their questions related to insurance process and claims, fallen tree issues, repair contracts, identity document replacements and other disaster-related questions. One callback takes about 30 minutes. And you can do it from your office. We have a training manual online and our staff pro bono lawyers can help you with any questions you may have. Right now, Georgians in 41 of our 159 counties affected by the disaster are confused, frustrated, and worried. Be a legal hero!
