Thank you to the students and alumni that joined us at our Speed Networking Night on Wednesday. Everyone was engaged and gave insightful answers about professional goals, their passion areas, wellness, and more. A special congrats to the two alumni and one student that won our raffle: Brandon Abernathy, Courtney Curtis, and Samadhi Attanayaka. Brandon and Courtney received an HP swag surprise pack and sweatshirts, while Samadhi will receive funding to join a professional development membership or organization of her choosing. I'm honored (pun intended?) to have presented at the GCHC - I had a great time and loved hearing everyone's presentations. Thank you to Dr. Amy D'Unger, Ph.D. for organizing the conference, Dr. Ed Lee III for the incredible talk on C.A.R.E., and all the students and staff who helped run the event. And a huge thank you to one of the best advisors I could ask for, Ms. Adina Rosenberg, who guided me through writing my paper, Prostheses and their Role in the Perception of Disability. Looking forward to the next one! ??
