We create great startups out of Georgia Tech research. We are VentureLab. We are passionate about entrepreneurship. We believe in the power of customer discovery. We believe in filling holes in the world, not making them. We believe in innovation, iteration, and experience. We value business models, not business plans. We educate, curate, and create, daily. We never take equity. We serve the students, faculty and staff of Georgia Tech. We are VentureLab.

Excited to have had Tenisha Griggs speak to our summer cohort about Smarketing: Aligning Sales and Marketing for Success! Her insights were incredibly valuable, especially as teams continue their journey through customer discovery to find their problem-solution fit. Such sessions, like today, could not happen without the full support of our phenomenal VentureLab team (Sara Martin Henderson, Melissa Heffner, Lauren Flamer, Skye Svehlak) and the team funding support from Georgia Tech CREATE-X! #womenentrepreneurs #leanstartups #femaleleadership #femalentrepreneur #femalefounders #customercentric

ATLANTA ?? ?? ?? The Southern hospitality and charm?? ??Collaboration over competition?? ?? ?? #IVLP ———————————————————— “The Southern hospitality and charm” “Collaboration over competition” My stay in the dynamic city of Atlanta went by at lightning speed! This was the tech and innovation portion of the trip. On Day 1, we visited the Atlanta Tech Village incubator accelerator (thanks Ania Lackey for the visit!) which is a must-see for startups in Georgia (and everywhere!). Their initiatives are clearly inspiring (and their team apparently also took inspiration from fellow accelerators in Quebec!) ???? I really enjoyed our meeting with Keith McGreggor and Nakia Melecio from VentureLab at Georgia Tech; propelling university innovations towards sustainable technological and business successes is clearly a vision that I share. Did you know that they were among the first to offer training programs for tech accelerators’ coaches and advisors around the world? ?? My highlight was our meeting with Shakiri Murrain, MBA from the Russell Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship. Their incubator and facilities are best designed to support entrepreneurs from black communities. This center is also the demonstration that when different players usually in competition manage to collaborate, this is the greatest wealth that we can bring to entrepreneurs. ?? #IVLP
