Last Monday, climate activists and faith leaders gathered outside Senator Ossoff's Savannah office to deliver signed Defend Our Climate petitions. We're deeply grateful for the Senator's dedication to protecting our Common Home. ???? As we look toward the challenges ahead, we encourage him to hold the line and reject any attempts to roll back critical climate progress. Together, we can build a more just and sustainable future! #DefendOurClimate #StandStrong

A second congregation in Georgia has officially gone solar thanks to Georgia Interfaith Power & Light and our partners at Georgia BRIGHT/ Capital Good Fund! ?? The Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Statesboro follows Trinity Episcopal Church, Statesboro, which completed a solar installation with Georgia BRIGHT in August 2024. This incredible achievement demonstrates how faith communities are leading the way in caring for Sacred Earth and building a more sustainable future. By harnessing the power of the sun, this congregation is not only reducing its carbon footprint but also modeling how stewardship of resources can align with spiritual values. Throwback to September when we participated in The Green Mass at St. Thomas More Catholic Church with the Archdiocese of Atlanta and Bishop Bernard Shlesinger III, Auxiliary Bishop of Atlanta. ?? We love celebrating Creation and participating in ritual acknowledgment of our call to care for the land, its people, and wildlife. Thank you for your continued support of faith-based climate advocacy: gipl.org/give #ThrowbackThursday #Giving #Philanthropy
