Wilfred Waters is a GISP professional with over 17+ years of experience in GIS with a Master of Applied Science in Geographic Information Systems from the University of Melbourne. Wilfred has years of experience from all over the globe. Wilfred current resides in the Atlanta area and is a host of The Geospatial Index podcast.

Let's Fly Together! Join the The Northeast Georgia Chapter of GGA for a combined meeting with our GGA Drone Flight Team. This will be the first flight day we have had in this region of the state. Our main presentation will be from Joel Logan with the Jackson County GIS department covering 8 years of flights and some basic tips and tricks on how UAS / drone technology has benefited their GIS program and local government. Our drone chair Brody Baer will follow up with important legislative updates that are currently going through the House and Senate and tips on starting your own UAS program.
