Months after the storm made landfall, the devastation of #HurricaneHelene is still being felt throughout Georgia’s agricultural sector. We’ve launched the Weathered But Strong: Hurricane Relief Fund in partnership with Georgia Farm Bureau, Georgia Department of Agriculture, and leading ag partners to provide critical aid to farmers and ranchers devastated by Hurricane Helene. Our goal is to raise $1 million by December to support those impacted with recovery efforts—from rebuilding structures to restoring livestock operations. ?? The Farm Credit Associations of Georgia were proud to sponsor the Georgia Foundation for Agriculture's Picnic on the Farm held at the Georgia Museum of Agriculture in Tifton, GA! The rain didn’t dampen the spirits of those who participated in the fundraiser that was developed to educate Georgia’s next generation of farmers and ag lenders. A picnic lunch along with entertainment and local vendors were all on hand to greet the visitors. We love supporting agriculture with our local ag partners and community members!
