COMPOST2025 Recap! GCC's sponsor World Centric gave an insightful presentation on Day 1 of COMPOST2025 last week covering the complexities of foodware legislation in the U.S. and the ways they are working to transition the industry away from regulatory confusion and towards a meaningful solution within the circular economy.
Our team at World Centric includes two incredibly knowledgeable Resource Recovery Managers (aka super heroes). They spend their time understanding all things foodware legislation, packaging ordinances, composting infrastructure and so much more, so you don't have too. ?? As a company dedicated to creating a better world for people and the planet, we will continue to advocate for the composting infrastructure for compostables, composter acceptance of materials, and the standardization in labeling within the compostable packaging space. Together, we can contribute to a more circular economy through the way we package and serve food. ??
