Every year, the Georgia Chapter of the American Concrete Institute (ACI) awards two $5000 to a local undergraduate or graduate student that has an interest in the areas of concrete technology, materials, design, construction or any combination of these areas. The Georgia Chapter of the American Concrete Institute (ACI) is asking for applications for this year’s Robert H. Kulman and LaGrit F. “Sam” Morris Student Scholarships.?ACI will award two?$5,000 scholarships?to two local undergraduate or graduate students that have an interest in the areas of concrete technology, materials, design, engineering, construction or any combination of these areas.??At the time of application, the applicant shall have been accepted to an accredited college or university as a full-time student pursuing a degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, material science, or other relevant degree. Achieving consistent and acceptable compressive strength requires a high level of coordination and collaboration involving engineers, producers, testing labs, owners, contractors, and others.
