#RFPAlert — Georgia BRIGHT is seeking Technical Assistance Providers ahead of our upcoming EPC Solar Installation RFP release in January 2025. We’re looking for qualified individuals, firms, or consortia of individuals to provide technical assistance services to help EPCs–particularly newer, smaller, or otherwise less-resourced organizations–develop competitive proposals and prepare to participate in the Solar for All program. The selected provider will: ?? Create training and resources to simplify federal compliance requirements ?? Offer 1:1 consultations and office hours for potential contractors ?? Georgia BRIGHT is a federally funded program available to low-to-middle-income Georgia residents and community organizations looking to save money on energy bills. Made possible through the Inflation Reduction Act, the initiative involves the leasing of solar panels and/or battery storage to remove the burden of ownership while breaking down barriers to accessible renewable energy. The program's creator, nonprofit Capital Good Fund, was recently awarded part of Solar For All’s $7B grant. This historic EPA funding aims to help low-income and disadvantaged communities participate in the transition to a clean energy economy through rooftop solar.
