Georgetown Kraft Credit Union has deep roots in our community, which all stem from our beginnings at IP, founded by employees of the Kraft mill in 1952. We are proud to have built a legacy of improving the lives of the employees of the mill and seeing their families grow and thrive in Georgetown. The news this morning of the mill closure has us all devastated and our thoughts and prayers are with the employees and their families, as well as the vendors and ancillary service workers that keep the mill running and supporting our town. Our management, member service and loan recovery teams are here and will work with all IP employees to aid with their next steps through this transition. Staff will be onhand to assist with daily needs such as savings and checking services as well as options for loan services. We will support these employees who have supported us through all the years and will keep our town in our prayers during this process. #peopleservingwithpurpose #legacyofimprovinglives
