Geopost at Smart Freight Week: Leading the Charge in Decarbonisation We’re proud to have had two of our experts Caryn-Ann Allen and Julien Le Signor speak at Smart Freight Week (Smart Freight Centre), sharing insights on decarbonising logistics. As a European leader in parcel delivery, we’ve reduced emissions by 11% since 2020 (despite 9.3% volume growth) and by 5.4% in 2024, aligning with our Science Based Targets initiative-approved net-zero targets. Julien highlighted how SBTi targets have driven cross-departmental alignment, with 15% of our last-mile fleet now electric and 16.3% of linehaul distance using sustainable fuels. We’re targeting 85% low-emission last-mile deliveries and 50% low-emission linehauls by 2030, supported by a ‘carbon budget’ governance model and collaboration with suppliers to ease their transition to electric. Caryn-Ann emphasised the role of regulations like the EU’s CO2 HDV standards in accelerating the shift to zero-emission vehicles (ZEVs). Engaging in policy isn’t always straightforward, but coalitions like the Climate Group's EV100+ policy working group amplify our voice, driving systemic change for a low-carbon future. Caryn-Ann also spoke at a session on GHG emissions accounting challenges in the post and parcel sector, spotlighting the work of CEN/TC 331 / CEN and CENELEC on postal services in developing the Parcel Delivery Environmental Footprint to standardise and enhance emissions transparency. Together, these efforts underscore our commitment to sustainable logistics. Thank you to our experts for representing Geopost and collaborating on solutions for the industry!

Milestone Anniversaries Statistics show that more than 50% of European businesses fail to survive beyond their first five years, making Chronopost’s 40-year milestone truly exceptional. We join Chronopost in celebrating four decades in the express delivery space! Forty years ago, Chronopost was born from the ambition of La Poste Groupe, our parent company, to create an express delivery service built on a dedicated network. The team at Chronopost has never stopped growing and innovating for consumers and clients across #B2B, #B2C and #C2C segments, proudly positioning them today as a leader in France. And the celebration doesn’t stop here! Twenty years ago, in 2005, Chronopost launched Chrono Médical—a tailored service for the express transport and delivery of healthcare products. Quickly embraced by healthcare professionals, it sparked a robust expertise. Bolstered by strategic acquisitions in temperature-controlled and urgent medical transport, Chronopost launched Chronopost Healthcare in 2021, a dedicated division uniting all health activities. As #TeamChronopost blows out all the candles, we wish them the very best for the next chapter in both legacies! #healthcare #parceldelivery #lastmile https://lnkd.in/gY5GKGK8
Happy 40th Anniversary to our Team at Chronopost!

Geopost at the Global Decarbonization Summit Dominique Mamcarz, our Director of Sustainability, took the stage at the Global Decarbonization Expo Summit, in partnership with our parent company La Poste Groupe, to share Geopost’s vision for sustainable trucking. Trucks are the backbone of our economy—moving 77% of inland freight in Europe and powering Geopost’s network of 15,000 trucks that deliver 8 million parcels daily. Yet, they account for nearly half of our carbon footprint. Dominique emphasised that decarbonising trucking is critical to preserving its economic and social value. The path forward? A shift to electric truck technologies, supported by growing renewable energy, competitive costs and social benefits like improved driver comfort. To succeed, according to Dominique, we need the right trucks, affordable total cost of ownership (TCO), robust charging infrastructure and strong policy support. At Geopost, we aim to have 50% of our fleet low-emission by 2030 and are committed to being net zero by 2040, securing a more sustainable future for parcel delivery. #Sustainability #decarbonation #decarbonization #ParcelDelivery #GDS2025

With 128,000 Pickup points across #Europe, we’re reaching new levels of customer convenience. The Pickup points that make up this network provide e-shoppers with flexible options for parcel collection and returns. Before becoming one of the densest parcel shop and locker networks in Europe, we began with a selection of #parcel shops in France in the early 2000s. Customers appreciated its reliability, and in 2014, we pioneered automated lockers. The rest, as they say, is history - leading to the expansive network we see today.

On this International Women's Day 2025, our EVP HR & Corporate Adminstration Marie-Hélène MICHON reflects on the vital role of diversity and gender equality at Geopost ?? #IWD #IWD2025 #AccelerateAction #WomensDay #GenderEquality
Diversity in Our Community with Women Front Row ? We all know this: diversity in our industry is crucial as it enables varied viewpoints, experiences?and insights, ultimately leading to better outcomes.?I have personally witnessed through my?years in an executive position how diversity brings a fresh and valuable approach to the value?chain, from strategic thinking ad decision-making to operational execution, including?management. With the crucial role of diversity in our industry, we enable the synergy of different?ways of working, ultimately leading to better outcomes. In recent years, attention to women's careers —meaning their place in the company and their?specific contribution to performance— has grown around the world. But much remains to be?done. At Geopost, we believe special initiatives need to continue to be made to instil sustainable?gender equality. We share lessons and insights on how to promote it in all spheres. We also?empower our employees with knowledge, skills and resources to drive personal and?professional growth, ensuring women are not subject to gender bias in their development,?whether imposed externally or to themselves. I have been surrounded by many talented individuals and know that women with strong skills?and the ambition to improve the status quo will show a fine capacity to perceive other people's?viewpoints and develop agility while finding creative solutions to reach?objectives, despite complex and high-priority circumstances. This specific talent is, of course, not exclusive to women. But having often seen them in my?female partners, I know there will be able to cope in their own ways, bringing an excellent?complement to other management styles. To make it simple: what would a company be in?today’s world without the talent of women? I'd like to seize this 2025 International Women's Day to recognise and extend my thanks?to all my colleagues for their unique contribution to our success.? ? Keep it up, ladies… and gentlemen! ? #IWD #IWD2025 #AccelerateAction #WomensDay #GenderEquality
