2024-2026 Texas Geo-Institute Officers The Board of the Texas Geotechnical Institute Chapter is pleased to provide the official list of elected officers for the 2024-2026 term: Chair - Nishant "Nick" Dayal, PE Vice Chair - Ajay Shastri Secretary - Abed Mikati, Ph.D. Treasurer - Yatish Jakatimath Past Chair - Robert Lawrence, P.E. The vote was held on Thursday, September 19 at 3:45 PM CT during the TxGI Annual Business Meeting at CECON 2024. Room: Frisco 3. TxGI Mission Statement The Texas Geo-Institute will advance the geoprofession and enhance the value of geoprofessionals. We congratulate the newly elected members and encourage the Texas Geoprofessionals to reach out to the officers with ideas to grow our community.

#cecon2024 has been amazing so far. We had a great time with the #STEM students. Big thanks to Eden Thomas, P.E. And Tensar, a division of CMC for putting on the soil box demonstration for the students on behalf of TXGI as well as their participation in the conference!
