The Tacoma project is coming together nicely. Managing the timing of scopes was more critical on this limited access project than most because we have to progressively complete the shoring wall sections, to build the needed width for the machines to reach the next piles on half the project. The new crew is tight, and always positive, and helping each other. Being able to bring in multiple clients on this one has provided a latitude to speed up completion. Thanks to all the collaborators. A full list to be provided with the final update upon completion. More to come.

I'm starting a couple limited access shoring projects folks. Tough projects require planning and a plan B for all aspects. Rewarding work being an integral part of estimation, contracts, team training, and equipment operation. Enjoy the photos. More to come. This one is a 136ft long soldier pile wall with tiebacks in Tacoma, WA.

A throwback to when Parker Schnabel of the Gold Rush TV show stumbled into my instrumentation crew for the Seattle Bored Tunnel at 11pm back in 2014. We were threading the needle between existing tunnels to install extensometers for the roof of the tunnel over 200ft below the red bricks of the pike place market red bricks. Good guy, good questions.

I appreciate my clients. Day 1 of my Client Appreciation Series was a success. Drano Lake Guided Spring King Salmon fishing. Relaxing day on the water to hang out and chat. Companies represented this day were: Dewitt, Keller, and Baxter Excavation.

A good designer is building solutions during the initial site walk. Photos from a site walk 2 years ago showing the failed geogrid wall in Bellingham. A solution was completed by WADE Heologic, Jones Engineering, Boden Enterprizes, and Baxter Excavation. https://lnkd.in/gjBChvMN
