About the Role: As the Senior Construction Manager, you will: - Lead and mentor Field Operations, ensuring every project runs smoothly from inception to commissioning. - Collaborate with the Project Financial Manager to coordinate detailed construction, materials, and resource plans. - Ensure compliance with safety and OSHA regulations on all job sites. - Travel to various project locations, overseeing the entire construction process. Key Responsibilities: - Manage PV Solar project construction and oversee construction teams. - Ensure compliance with permitting and regulatory requirements. - Track project tasks and manage project budgets. - Drive quality assurance and safety compliance. - Engage with key stakeholders and maintain client relationships. What We’re Looking For: - Proven leadership skills and a strong technical background. - Excellent verbal communication and listening skills. - A high level of integrity, teamwork, and a positive attitude. - Ten years of experience in construction management, with a focus on renewable energy preferred. - Bachelor’s degree in construction management or similar field is desired. - Willingness to travel extensively and occasionally internationally. Special Requirements: - Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record. - Ability to pass a background check and drug test. Friday Project Highlight: Our crews have been busy in Nebraska constructing this 858kW-dc solar + 360kW/774kWh BESS behind-the-meter solution for a manufacturing facility. Once energized, this facility will be the first in the State. Due to the equipment used in its manufacturing processes, the facility's consumption curve had extreme demand spikes, making it an ideal candidate for peak shaving. It took a year of collecting and analyzing interval data before we perfected the final solution. The project also qualified for the USDA REAP grant. We can't wait until it comes to life! Last week we celebrated the energization of our 21st municipal/community solar farm in the State of Nebraska with the City of Wahoo! Nebraska is the only state that is served 100% by public-owned utilities. Each community is different and the structure allows for low-cost energy and local control.
