We have another very exciting new staff alert to share! Please welcome James Wahls as Gennesaret's new Director of Patient Services! James Wahls brings over 20 years of experience serving patients across the continuum of care. He has a deep understanding of patient needs and a passion for building innovative systems and teams that enhance healthcare delivery. Throughout his career, James has demonstrated a talent for overcoming challenges to provide exceptional patient care. He is dedicated to equipping healthcare providers and caregivers with the tools and resources they need to succeed. James said, “I am so grateful to be a part of a team of such compassionate leaders who are incredibly dedicated to and capable of addressing the overwhelming need for healthcare for those that traditionally fall through the complex cracks in our current healthcare system. I hope to provide an endless supply of hope and energy for creating a system that provides free healthcare that does not feel or look like free healthcare.”

Gennesaret Free Clinics is proud to announce the addition of Amanda Kay Baker, Director of Development! Amanda comes to Gennesaret with a wealth of experience in media and medical marketing. As the Director of Development, Amanda will oversee Gennesaret's development initiatives, including creating strategic partnerships and leading fundraising efforts. With Amanda's proven track record in securing high-profile deals, increasing revenue, and building relationships, Amanda is poised to help Gennesaret achieve its next phase of growth! Amanda shared, "I am thrilled to join such an amazing group of talented people who are working tirelessly to end the gap in healthcare, and I look forward to driving new initiatives that will further our impact in the Indianapolis community." A couple days ago, we introduced you to Antowne, a GFC Health Recovery Home resident who has been staying with us while be battled and ?defeated? cancer and homelessness. Antowne just got the keys to his new apartment!!! ?? ?? We couldn't be more proud!!!

One of the biggest questions we get asked: Where are you located? The answer is... a little bit of everywhere! We take care directly where we know people are that need it. If you need help finding a clinic location, please let us know!

Antowne’s time at the Men's Health Recovery Home has been nothing short of transformative. Not too long ago, Antowne was living on the streets with the devastating diagnosis of cancer. Everything changed when Antowne came to stay with Gennesaret Free Clinics. He has fought so hard and made incredible milestones in his fight for wellness, even completing his radiation treatments! Now, Antowne has accomplished something equally life-changing: he has secured permanent housing. In just days, he will move into his very own apartment... a place that promises the security and peace of mind to focus fully on reclaiming his health. ? GFC PATIENT SPOTLIGHT, featuring Julie!? At GFC's Health Recovery Home, GFC resident Julie found the support and stability she needed. She felt safe, valued, and cared for... something everyone deserves to feel. Our program provided her with housing, employment opportunities, and the essential resources to regain her footing. She obtained her birth certificate, Social Security card, and food stamps, giving her a renewed sense of belonging and security. Julie's journey is a testament to resilience. She has secured her own housing for the first time in over a year. What an incredible milestone—a place to call her own, where she can decorate, cook, clean, and enjoy the daily rhythms of life. For Julie, this home represents not only a newfound independence but also the strength and determination that have brought her to this moment.
