“In my role, you must be able to ask the right questions to troubleshoot the problem.” – Class of 2025 IT Intern? ? For February’s CCC (College and Career Connections) workshop, our young professionals gathered in-person for case presentations. In small groups, interns prepared their talking points and presented to the larger group soon after. Speeches had to share more about their internship companies, their routine tasks and projects, their impact at the company, a challenge they are facing and how they are working to overcome them.?? ? In this CCC session, interns practiced the following skills that strengthens their presence in the workplace:? -Public Speaking? -Providing Feedback? -Receiving Feedback? -Collaboration? -Self-Reflection? ? Interns exhibited confidence in their speaking skills as they projected their voice across the room.
