Prior to truss installation these beams and columns need to be encased with an intumescent coating to match the fire rating of the floor… If the trusses were set prior to the coating being installed it would more than likely fail inspections as it is vital for the floor to have a continuous rating with no breaks in the coating…Being proactive will always keep a project on schedule and eliminate potential delays..
Dealing with chalkiness on siding can pose problems if not prepped right prior to paint causing adhesion issues… Eliminate these problems by spraying a mild detergent, scrub the siding with a soft bristle brush (most important step to agitate chalkiness), power wash off residue, perform adhesion test in multiple areas, apply primer if adhesion test passes, and top coat with color…
