Thank you to everyone who attended the 2024 Geneseo Chamber Fall Breakfast this morning at the Geneseo Moose Lodge. This year's featured speaker was Peter Tokar III, MBA, MEDP, President & CEO of the Quad Cities Chamber of Commerce. During the program, Peter outlined several of the Quad Cities Chamber's economic initiatives, including Grow Quad Cities - a newly created economic development organization serving the six-county region of the Quad Cities, including Geneseo, which is entirely focused on the economic development priorities of the QC from both a public and private perspective. Thank you, Peter, for taking time to visit Geneseo today and sharing your insight with Geneseo business professionals. A delicious, hearty breakfast was catered by our friends at Hometown Catering. Zack with the Geneseo Chamber also provided some updates about upcoming events, including the 2024 Geneseo Christmas Walk. The Geneseo Chamber of Commerce hosted a Connections Over Coffee networking event this morning at the lovely Central Schoolhouse. Member business owners and leaders met over breakfast to network and connect with fellow professionals in Geneseo. This event emphasized connecting newer Geneseo Chamber members with our more established business leaders in Geneseo, offering an opportunity for mentorship and a mutual professional benefit between guests. Our guests also had an opportunity to introduce themselves, their business, and a fun fact about themselves to the group. Thank you to all who attended! It was a fantastic morning and we look forward to hosting similar Geneseo business support/networking events in the future.
