AI technology can help us teach about the Holocaust and fight against antisemitism - this was the key message at the recent International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance (IHRA) conference in #London. Shiran Mlamdovsky Somech joined government officials, academics, and experts worldwide to discuss this important topic. The message was clear: AI is powerful and we need to use it responsibly. While it has risks, especially when misused to spread hate, it also has great potential for education and preserving memory. As part of our global efforts, Shiran Mlamdovsky Somech, delivered a powerful lecture in Ukraine, joining experts to discuss AI’s role in combating gender-based violence in conflict zones. The panel, held for the International Day Against Violence Against Women, showcased the incredible resilience and innovation of Ukrainian organizations working to protect women’s rights. We’re proud to stand with Ukraine and continue our mission to fight violence against women worldwide.

As we reflect on the ongoing United Nations’s 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence campaign, we’re reminded of the importance of raising awareness and amplifying the voices of survivors. Three months ago, at the 21st Annual International Human Trafficking & Social Justice Conference, we had the honor of presenting "In My Voice", a project that uses generative AI to share real survivor testimonies through avatars. One powerful reaction to the project encapsulates its impact: "The technology provides an exceptional opportunity for most of us, who would never dare to speak, be interviewed, or make our voices heard openly. The fear of social stigma, the shame, the desire not to add suffering to our parents, our children, the immense self-blame—all these factors cause many to remain in the shadows and treat what we've been through as if it never happened."
