We at the Grandfamilies & Kinship Support Network are busy creating a toolkit for K-12 school professionals and kinship service providers to better support students and caregivers in kinship/grandfamilies. Tapping the expertise of many of our partners and friends, it will contain specific steps and embedded tools to help children and their caregivers thrive in K-12 settings. We're excited to share it with you soon - it's a companion piece to Pathways to Success, the Generations United 2024 State of Grandfamilies & Kinship Care Report at www.gureport.org. We're looking for one last example for the toolkit - an inclusive flyer advertising a school event that specifically mentions grandparents and other kin raising children.
