Community, fitness, and connection! ??? This Friday, we had the opportunity to co-host a soccer pickup night with Fitness Bridge, an organization founded by Musa Abdi with a mission to empower the community through fitness and well-being. It’s been amazing working alongside them and learning about their goals—especially their dedication to keeping our community healthy and informed about physical wellness. Looking forward to more collaborations! #CommunityWellness #FitnessBridge #GenerationalNoor #StrongerTogether

We have so much work to do—but it starts with breaking the silence. Too often, aeeb (shame) culture stops us from getting the help our kids desperately need. We worry about what others will think instead of focusing on what truly matters—protecting and guiding our children. Parenting isn’t about fear of judgment; it’s about love, accountability, and doing whatever it takes to keep our kids safe. Checking in on them, knowing their struggles, even searching their rooms when necessary—isn’t invasion of privacy, it’s an act of care. As a community, we need to stop judging from the sidelines and start supporting one another. It truly does take a village. Let’s do better, together. Stay tuned for this powerful conversation. #ChasingHope #GenerationalNoor #BreakTheStigma #ItTakesAVillage #CommunityOverJudgment

Black History Month: Faces of Maine ? At Generational Noor, we’re proud to highlight Black voices and leaders from all walks of life—professional athletes, police officers, state representatives, teachers, executive directors, electricians, pilots, doctors, and more. What do they all have in common? They’re from Maine, grew up here, or were shaped by this state. Our goal is to show youth that their future has endless possibilities. Whether it’s college, trades, or another path, they have options—and there are incredible role models who have been in their shoes and achieved greatness. And with March being Women’s History Month, what better way to start than by highlighting an amazing woman—Representative Mana Abdi! A trailblazer and leader, she embodies the power of representation and resilience. Representation matters. Inspiration matters. And this month, we celebrate those paving the way! Big thank you to our sponsors city of Lewiston maine, summer fun & films , new beginnings, Maine connectivity authority, Maine community foundation and spurwink #BlackHistoryMonth #FacesOfMaine #WomensHistoryMonth #RepresentationMatters #generationalnoor
