We’ll be distributing food, essential resources, and warm clothing to support new Mainers, the homeless community, and families in need. Last week, our team and youth had an incredible experience at the Maine Youth Action Network’s @wearemyan Maine Youth Leadership Conference! ?? From hosting a breakout session to tabling and sharing Generational Noor’s mission, to participating in inspiring workshops, we made meaningful connections with youth and organizations across Maine. The MYLC is all about promoting positive connections building 21st-century skills ,and creating networks that open doors for young people. ??? Our youth are the heart and soul of Generational Noor – their energy, ideas, and passion are the very foundation of everything we do. At our recent 2-year anniversary celebration, they surprised our Executive Director with a heartfelt video message, a beautiful reminder of just how much this journey means to them. In this video, you’ll hear directly from the young voices that drive our mission forward. Their words, filled with gratitude, love, and excitement for the future, brought so much joy to all of us. Watching them share their experiences and dreams reminded us that the work we do together is so much bigger than ourselves – it’s about building a brighter future for our entire community. Thank you to each of these incredible young leaders for your dedication and for reminding us why we do this work every single day.
