Big things are happening at Array Labs. Behind the scenes, we've been growing our bench of strategic partners to accelerate development of the satellites, sensors, and software needed to deliver the world's first real-time, high-fidelity 3D map of Earth. Today, we're particularly proud to announce a new partner: IQT (In-Q-Tel). We have received a strategic investment from IQT, which identifies innovative technologies to support the U.S. national security community and America’s allies. We're excited to partner with IQT, and to welcome managing partner Tom Gillespie as a board observer. This announcement complements several other partnerships and strategic relationships with industry leaders across defense, ag, heavy industry, and geospatial (which you can read more about in the press release, linked in the comments). Onward and upwards!

Adaptive Insurance has successfully closed its $5M Seed round to launch an AI-powered climate resilience platform ????? We are committed to supporting visionary companies tackling the world's most pressing challenges. That’s why we’re thrilled to announce our Generation Space through Seraphim Space Ventures II LLP investment in Adaptive, alongside Congruent Ventures and Montauk Climate. With climate-driven weather extremes increasing in frequency and severity, traditional insurance models are struggling to keep up. Businesses are left vulnerable to financial shocks, and consumers often bear the burden. Adaptive is changing the game. Starting with GridProtect, their short-term power outage coverage, Adaptive is leveraging AI, real-time data, and parametric insurance to provide fast, transparent, and efficient protection against everyday weather events. Their innovative approach ensures businesses get rapid relief when they need it most. ?? Read more: https://lnkd.in/eK8-iymG

The Adaptive team is proud to share that we successfully closed our $5M Seed round to launch our AI-powered climate resilience platform, helping businesses build resiliency against climate and weather events. With increased weather extremes, population shifts, regulations, and legacy systems, traditional insurance models are no longer agile enough to mitigate the immediate financial shocks that businesses face due to increasingly frequent and costly weather events. Consumers are left paying the price. We want to change that, starting with GridProtect, our short-term power outage coverage and the first in our suite of parametric insurance solutions. By leveraging AI, real-time data, and the simplicity of parametric insurance - verified trigger events, agreed-upon payments, and speedy claims processing - we can offer businesses rapid relief and resiliency against everyday weather events. We’re immensely grateful to have found like-minded investors keen to support us on our mission as we set out to change how businesses safeguard against climate risks. A huge thank-you to our investors, Congruent Ventures, Montauk Climate, and Generation Space, for believing in our vision. This is just the beginning and we’re grateful you’re along for the ride. ?? Raising cash should be easier in 2025 ?? During the opening day of the SmallSat Symposium this week, panelists discussed the need for space startups to raise cash. The topic was a primary focus of a session which looked specifically at the state of the funding market for early round endeavours. Including Lewis Alun Jones, Investment VP at Generation Space and Seraphim Space, who explained that "A year ago, all was doom and gloom, but the market recovered pretty well with many new businesses being founded. We saw early stage (funding) becoming pretty resilient although growth stage was fairly stagnant. We see 2025 as giving us a lot of hope with potential IPO markets returning. People are getting used to space, and defence.” ?? Read the full article here: https://lnkd.in/ejUqGWeD
