Post-Election Day Update ?? This morning, I had the chance to interview with Paul Booth from the City of Cincinnati’s Office of Human Relations to discuss how Empower GENNOW Network is addressing retention challenges for young professionals in Cincinnati. Our goal? To keep talented individuals in the city by providing support through our workforce programs, like networking events, leadership development, and soon-to-launch dating events for young professionals looking to make meaningful connections. Our research shows that retaining young talent means building connections within Cincinnati—offering opportunities for professional growth, community engagement, and even love. Without these, many young professionals leave the city after just 2-3 years. While Cincinnati has strong retention rates, we need more than temporary solutions. Empower Gennow Network is making a lasting impact by creating programs that lead to economic success and career satisfaction for young professionals here.
