??3D Graphene Foam as a Substrate for 3D Cell Culture ?? 3D Graphene Foam consists of an interconnected microporous network of conductive graphene sheets. It provides ideal biomechanical, biochemical, and electrical properties to promote the growth of healthy cells. Remarkably, no cell adhesion coating is needed to grow cells on this foam. These innovative structures closely mimic native tissue environments, enhancing cell adhesion, migration, proliferation, and differentiation. The brightfield images shared by Daniel Molin and Nynke van den Akker from Maastricht University show bovine skin fibroblasts seeded on our graphene foam. After 31-36 days of culture, the fibroblasts formed a tissue-like structure. These results indicate that the graphene foam can be a potential biomaterial for 3D cell culture and tissue engineering applications.
