Had the privilege of attending the Women of the Future Programme this week on behalf of BHP, and what an incredible experience it was! The keynote from Kathryn McLay and the panel discussion from accomplished women leaders were a remarkable experience. And this was followed by a super interesting networking reception where we got to meet so many leaders from various industries and discuss 1:1 spanning various topics. The anecdotes they shared answering our questions made it so relatable and relevant. These stories have left me feeling committed to supporting initiatives that drive gender equality adding a foundational stone for Gender Equity Matters in India (GEMinI) @ BHP Few things that will stick with me are “How important it is to turn up every day with Humanity”, “Don’t fear judgements”, “Constantly striving to be more relevant” and “Once you have the job it doesn’t matter how you got there, what matters is what you do when you’re there”.
