    ?? The Robot That Teaches Itself Complex Movements! Researchers at Carnegie Mellon developed SWIFT (Soft-hand With In-hand Fast re-orienTation), which uses a unique approach: instead of relying on complex simulations or pre-programmed movements, the robot learns through real-world trial and error. Three key highlights: ? The robot uses soft, flexible fingers that can safely interact with objects - much like our own hands ? It learns without needing to know the pen's weight or balance beforehand ?
