When we first came up with the idea of hosting an event on photonics, we wondered - would there be enough interest in such a niche topic? With so much focus on AI, robotics and automation, we weren't sure. But our AI + Photonics event turned out to be a huge success - packed with leading investors, entrepreneurs and seasoned industry experts. This experience has only reinforced our belief in the importance of creating spaces for deep tech discussions, bringing people together, and strengthening this incredible community. Founders and investors in this space don't have to feel alone anymore. A huge shoutout to our esteemed speakers Peter Chung, Manny Stockman, Eric Hall, Drew Perkins, Alan Liu, Mian Zhang, Amy Cheng, our own Eric Rosenblum, Michael (Xuecheng) Jin for sharing your insights and lighting up the stage. A special thanks to our amazing event partners: Google for Startups (Amy Cheng), Silicon Valley Bank (Julian Nash Jack Garza), and GenAI Assembling (Jessica Z.), and our wonderful team at Foothill Ventures as always!

A big thank you to our amazing speakers and everyone who joined us! ??
?? Collov AI was thrilled to join the #AIAgent discussion with Echo Zhong, CPA of Tax from Kick (funded by OpenAI), and the team from Omnify Labs, where Laura Y. L., Head of Growth at Collov AI shared the top three insights we gathered: 1?? AI agents are evolving into platforms In the future, AI agents will serve as foundational platforms, with specialized agents acting like apps in a mobile ecosystem. This shift will redefine how we interact with technology. 2?? AI wrappers aren’t as cheap as they seem While developing AI wrappers may seem straightforward, creating exceptional user experiences and solving specific, high-impact problems can unlock massive revenue potential. 3?? AI is liberating human creativity Today, we're reimagining agents—?????? ???????? ???? ?????????? ?????? ???? ???????????????????????? ?????? ?????????????????????? “????????????” ???? ??????????, ????????????????????, ??????????????, ?????? ????????????. ???? ???????????????????? ???????????????????? ??????????, ???? ?????????????? ???????????? ???? ?????????? ???? ????????????????, ???????????????????? ???????? ???????? ?????????? ??????????. At Collov AI, we are also building agents which will help many #realestate agents. At Collov AI, we’re not just building AI—we’re shaping the future of work. Let’s embrace this transformation together! ?? Appreciate the invitation from Thomas Luo,Jessica Z. GenAI Assembling #AI #Innovation #CollovAI #FutureOfWork #openai #aiagent #realestatetech

As the capabilities of Generative AI continue to grow, the limitations of traditional hardware infrastructure are becoming increasingly apparent. Compute to compute, compute to memory, stack to stack, server to server interconnects are often the bottlenecks, constraining computing and power efficiency. Photonics interconnect and optical switching have the potential to dramatically enhance bandwidth, reduce latency, and lower power consumption—ushering in a new era of scalable, high-performance AI hardware infrastructure. And perhaps, optical computing is around the corner, offering potentially breakthrough performance beyond what an electronic architecture can offer. I’m excited to invite all enthusiasts to the AI + Photonics Summit on Thursday Jan 30, 2025 night at Google Sunnyvale. If you’re passionate about building next generation AI hardware infrastructure and interested in photonics’ roles within it, please register and join the 180+ signups (so far, about 1/3 are investors and 2/3 are entrepreneurs and industry professionals). Who should participate? - Founders spearheading the development of the future data centers. - Engineers and talent eager to contribute to a startup operating at the crossroads of photonics and AI. - Venture capitalists with a keen interest in deep tech innovations. Here are a line of our speakers: VC panel: Eric Hall at Entrada Ventures, Peter Chung at Summit Partners, Manny Stockman at Osage University Partners (OUP), and our own Eric Rosenblum; Startup panel: Amy Cheng at Google Cloud, Optics, Alan Liu at Quintessent Inc., Drew Perkins at Eridu AI, and Mian Zhang at HyperLight. This event is also presented by our amazing sponsors and partners Google for Startups, Silicon Valley Bank and GenAI Assembling. ?? And special thanks to our Operating Partner Phoebe Fan who coordinates with everyone and put things together for the event! ?? #AI #datacenter #photonics #optics #aicomputing
