We are excited to welcome Yiwei Chen, The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) class of 2026, as a Spring M&A Support Intern at Genaesis, LLC. Maggie is double majoring in Economics & Philosophy with prior investment banking experience as an analyst intern at Acacia Partners Ltd and prominent M&A and Capital Markets training at NatWest Group & Goldman Sachs. We are thrilled to have Maggie on board and look forward to her contributions to the team!

We are excited to welcome Fiona Chen as a Spring M&A Support Intern Genaesis, LLC. Fiona is pursuing the joint Columbia Business School and Columbia Engineering Master’s in Business Analytics (MSBA) program and joins Genaesis with valuable experience from prior private equity analyst internships in Chicago, New York, and Beijing. We are thrilled to have Fiona for the Spring semester and look forward to her additions to the team!

Genaesis has helped several former clients acquire additional companies or exit their acquisitions after a transaction. In the last few weeks, we have been able to close two follow-on acquisitions for an outstanding buyer, former?US Navy?SEAL and?MIT Sloan School of Management?MBA alum,?Kent Nygren. In June 2023 we helped him acquire?SRM Group, LLC.?Less than a year and half later, we helped him acquire two more complimentary businesses, closing within a week of each other in December and January. I'm very proud of the work everyone puts into these deals and glad we could help him accelerate his rapid expansion.

Happy to highlight Eliana Heo and Phoebe Tian, two of our 2024-2025 interns from Harvard University, visiting The Basilica of Sacré C?ur de Montmartre on their 2025 Winter Tour in Paris with their acapella group, The Harvard Callbacks. In addition to performance, both Eliana and Phoebe are interested in media and entertainment investment banking, so it’s been great having their support on Genaesis, LLC projects with complex IP and intangible asset issues. We should have everyone back to their M&A and international development work for the Spring term on Monday, but glad they were able to have a special winter break.

Congratulations to Ryan Duncan, M&A Analyst, and Kahlil Dover, Operations and Production Manager, for their impressive achievements at the Operation Turbo Half Marathon! Ryan secured 1st overall, while Kahlil placed 1st in his age group. Their dedication reflects our core values at Genaesis—supporting veterans and giving back to military-focused non-profits like Operation Turbo (www.operationturbo.org), which delivers "comfort of home" care packages to troops stationed around the globe. We're proud to have team members who lead by example both in and out of the office.

We are very pleased to welcome M&A Support Intern Jenny Sun, class of 2027 at the NYU Stern School of Business. Jenny comes to Genaesis having prior investment banking analyst intern roles at firms including Concordia Capital and venture-backed start-ups including Halo Modular. We are thrilled to have her this term and are looking forward to her contributions to the team!

When we launched Geneasis Creative in 2021, our primary objective was to help clients communicate value in sell-side engagements and offer comprehensive rebranding, website, and collateral development for their post-merger integration. Over the past three years, we’ve supported over a dozen high-growth federal contractors in these efforts. In parallel, we have been fortunate to expand our services to non-M&A Genaesis clients including high-profile companies, non-profit organizations, and early-stage businesses and entrepreneurs to meet their diverse creative and design needs. This client growth has led us to expand our creative services to include greater website and digital development offerings, resulting in the need for our team to also grow. We’re proud to announce that Kelly Cassella will now serve as Creative Director, leading a dedicated Genaesis Creative team, and the addition of Toni Loughlin as Art Director, who brings over 12 years of website design & development, SEO, analytics, and email marketing experience. They will be supported by Susana Morales who will be transitioning to operations support for our growing team. Congratulations to Kelly and Toni!
