You may or may not know this, but I've slightly pivoted from the position of Marketing Coordinator to Director of Audience Engagement this year over at GZM Shows. I have found so much joy answering fan mail from our amazing audience, responding to them both on social media and having them as guests on our recap show, GZM Rewind. I wanted to hop on here to shout out our entire the marketing team for a SUPER fun idea we implemented two weeks ago that definitely engaged our audience! As we approached the finale of our new hit show, Discovering Dad, we cooked up a little something special to announce the (HIGHLY anticipated) release date of Season 4 of Six Minutes. ?? Instead of a simple announcement, we launched a scavenger hunt! ???♀?? We created dynamic ads featuring eight of our Six Minutes stars (including some surprise new faces) and ran them across the Discovering Dad feed. Fans were left on a wild chase, hunting down these promos to uncover the release date of the next season! Once the final episode dropped, our fans went into full detective mode, cranking up excitement for Six Minutes and revisiting (or DISCOVERING, pun intended) Discovering Dad. We kept it under wraps for one week, then announced the promos on social media – without naming the release date, so they still had to go listen and find it – which brought upon even more excitement! One fan listened enough times to find all eight promos and e-mailed me to let me know she "won" and had set up a countdown on her phone for the release date. ?? This campaign not only sparked joy and intrigue among our fans but also drove growth for both shows. We’re thrilled with the results and can’t wait to bring more creative ideas to life.
